The Transylvania County Manager formally presented the FY 2025 Recommended Budget to the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners during a regular meeting on Monday, May 13, 2024, and it is available for public inspection. A copy of the FY 2025 Recommended Budget is available in the office of the Clerk to the Board, County Administration Building, 101 S. Broad St., Brevard, weekdays 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. A copy has also been placed at the Transylvania County Library and posted online at https://www.transylvaniacounty.org/departments/finance
The Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to receive public input on the FY 2025 Budget proposal during a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. County offices are closed on Monday, May 27, 2024, in observance of Memorial Day. The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Chambers at the County Administration Building.
All meetings of the Board of Commissioners are open to the public in accordance with the North Carolina Open Meetings Law. The meeting facilities are handicap accessible and anyone requiring special assistance should notify the Clerk to the Board at (828) 884-1936 as soon as possible. The meetings can be viewed online at www.transylvanaicounty.org.
