NOTICE TO PUBLIC
BLUE RIDGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
STRATEGIC CAPITAL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Blue Ridge Community College Strategic Capital Planning Committee will meet on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The Committee will meet in the Patton Building at the Henderson County Campus of Blue Ridge Community College, located at 180 West Campus Drive, Flat Rock, NC. The Committee will meet in Room 219 and then tour the Henderson County Campus. In accordance with NC Open Meetings Law, the meeting is open to the public.
The Transylvania County Board of Commissioners has charged the committee with a specific scope of work, to include reviewing the college’s master plan study and projected needs, evaluating locations that would best position the college as a community asset, researching nontraditional funding sources, and reporting those findings to the Board. At this meeting, the committee will continue with the work they have been charged with by the Board of Commissioners.
