Notice is hereby given that Transylvania County is soliciting proposals from professional firms to implement a new software system to satisfy its Financial (GL, Bank Reconciliation, Budgeting, Project/Grant Accounting, Contract Management, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashiering w/Online Payments, Financial Reporting), People Management (Human Resources, Applicant Tracking, Payroll, Time Keeping), ad hoc reporting needs. To be considered for this engagement, the firm must meet the qualifications and satisfy the requirements set forth in the RFP.
A copy of the RFP with detailed specifications, information, and selection criteria may be obtained, beginning August 9, 2018 from Jonathan Griffin at the Transylvania County Finance Department, 101 South Broad Street, Brevard, NC 28712, at [email protected], or at 828-884-3104.
Intent to propose notification is to be directed by email to [email protected] no later than August 20, 2018.
Questions regarding this proposal should be directed in writing to Jonathan Griffin, Transylvania County, and submitted via email to [email protected] until 4:00 PM EST on August 30, 2018.
Proposals must be received by Jonathan Griffin at the address shown above no later than 4:00 PM EST, September 14, 2018. Per NCGS 143-129.8 proposals shall remain confidential until the contract is awarded; therefore, there will not be a public bid opening.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
