The primary purpose of this office is to assist U.S. military veterans in applying for various benefits they are entitled to.
This includes such things as:
- Receiving VA disability due to service-connected disabilities
- Application to receive medical care at the VA hospital, Asheville
- Obtaining copies of discharge papers or military medals
- Answering questions from veterans about other benefits

Veterans Services

VA operates 128 national cemeteries in the United States and Puerto Rico, together with oversight and management of 33 soldiers' lots, confederate cemeteries, and monument sites.
