Government Meetings

Meeting Details:

The Board of Commissioners of Transylvania County met in regular session on Monday, December 13, 2004, 7:00 p.m., large courtroom of the Courthouse, Chairman Ray Miller presiding.  There were approximately 35 people in the audience.  Chairman Miller called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
 
Commissioners present: Chairman Ray Miller, Vice Chairman David Guice, Commissioners Jason Chappell, Jeff Duvall and Kelvin Phillips
 
Staff present:  Manager Artie Wilson, Attorney David Neumann, Deputy Sheriff Jeff Hubbard acted as court sergeant, Finance DirectorGay Poor, County Planner Mike Thomas, Health Director Steve Smith, Jim Boyer, Denise Long, Patricia Hawkins and Furman Nicholson from the Health Department, Tax Assessor David Reid, Deputy Annette Raines, Nita Barton, Debbie Walker, Jessica Aiken, Lorraine Bryson, Paulette Wall, and Shasta Moretz from the tax assessor’s office,  Register of Deeds Cindy Ownbey, Assistant Register Beth Sales, Library Director Anna Yount, Sandra Beck and Larry Moss from Information Technology, Emergency Services Director David McNeill, Communications Director Kevin Shook, Personnel Director Sheila Cozart, Elections Director Judy Mathews and Clerk to Board Kimberly Conover
