Government Meetings

Meeting Details:

The Board of Commissioners of Transylvania County met in regular session on Monday, September 27, 2004, 7:00 p.m., large courtroom of the Courthouse, Chairman Ray Miller presiding.  There were approximately 20 people in the audience.
 
Commissioners present: Chairman Ray Miller, Commissioners Marla Cilley, Jeff Duvall and David Guice.   Commissioner Rob Davenport was not able to attend.
 
Staff present:  Manager Artie Wilson, Attorney David Neumann, Court Sergeant Terry Whitmire, Finance Director Gay Poor, Deputy Tax Collectors Genelle Chapman, Emergency Services Director David McNeill, EMS Director Bobby Cooper, Communications Director Kevin Shook, Economic Development Planner Gary Heisey, Tax Assessor David Reid and Clerk to Board Kimberly Conover.  Also present were commissioner candidates Dr. Carol Grahl and Lynn Bullock.
