NOTICE TO PUBLIC
VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the Courthouse Gazebo beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 to honor our veterans and pay tribute to those who have served and are serving our nation to preserve the principles of justice, freedom, and democracy. The Board of Commissioners calls upon the citizenry of Transylvania County to observe Veterans Day with expressions of gratitude to all veterans and to solemnly remember the sacrifices of all those who fought so valiantly to preserve our heritage of freedom.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Main Street in front of the Courthouse will be closed. Please park in adjacent parking lots.
